HollywoodPrize.com´s roots can be traced back to traditional, classic sweepstakes contests. Starting in June 2003 as HollywoodWin.com, we launched our first sweepstakes contest page and have been hosting promotions ever since.

Classic sweeps are typically those in which there is one simple online entry (i.e. "opt-in") form, a few text links and no rich media / video content.

As a HollywoodPrize Contestant (i.e. fan or artist), you can always enjoy the benefits of HollywoodPrize´s classic sweeps as they form the backbone of every sweepstakes contest we host.

Each time you enter any of our sweepstakes contests hosted on HollywoodPrize you are using our Classic Sweeps entry form.

The benefits include:

• One simple account registration or contest opt-in entry form ever needed to complete
• HollywoodPrize´s innovative Add A Contest to your profile technology whereby Contestants may opt-in to any number of additional contests as quickly as one click from MyContests
• Manage subscription including eNewsletter, promo list and SMS Text message alert preferences up front during the opt-in phase or login to edit preferences
• When applicable, receive electronic ticket email notifications with confirmation entry number, directions and possible additional information from the Sponsor
• Enter to win Grand Prize, Secondary Prize(s), and Tertiary Prize(s) from the Sponsor
• Prizes offered by Sponsors greater than $1000 USD in value shall be guaranteed through the Sponsor´s post of a public bond (laws vary by US State)
• Earn 1 (ONE) point for every contest you enter as part of Fan Loyalty Rewards program
• HollywoodPrize email notification of prizing details and automatic awarding of additional 500 (Grand), 400 (2nd place), or 300 (3rd place) Fan Loyalty Reward Points to your profile
• Complete the Sponsor´s custom online survey (on an optional basis) on contest form to help Sponsor to learn more about your entertainment interests and feedback
• Refer A Friend and earn 1 (ONE) additional fan loyalty point to your HollywoodPrize profile for each friend with a valid name, email and Postal addresss
• HollywoodPrize´s automatic safeguards and data checks against bogus Contestant entries such as alternate identities, multiple email addreses, or invalid names or Postal mail address that prevents fellow Contestants from attempting to increase winning odds
• Prizes drawn by Sponsor´s selection or HollywoodPrize automated Win Wizard
• Contestant data and privacy secured by HollywoodPrize´s data center such that data is never bought, sold or rented to any 3rd party other than Sponsor
• Manage MyContest History and track all opt-in entries from MyContests
• Seamless link to Video Voting promotions using Classic Sweeps entry form

Raffles

Some non-profit charities and organizations use HollywoodPrize´s sweepstakes contests service for online raffles. In these promotions, HollywoodPrize will ask you for your credit card, banking or payment information as a means to process donations. However, HollywoodPrize will not actually process payment but merely collect your billing data for the Sponsor in order to process your donation payment offline at a later date and time.
